FAQ 2019-09-24T08:35:43+00:00

„A linedance is a choreographed dance with a repeated sequence of steps in which a group of people dance in one or more lines or rows, all facing either other or in the same direction, and executing the steps at the same time. Unlike circle dancing, linedancers are not in physical contact with each other.“ (Source: Wikipedia.com). – But it is so much more than that: It is a great way of moving, staying in shape and meeting new people … also to train your brain when learning the various choreographies.  In short: Fitness for your brain and feet 🙂

No! Linedance requires no dancing partner – therefore, it is also ideal for singles.

My new beginners class will probably start in January 2020. As only a limited number of registrations is possible, it is advisable to register now 🙂

All classes take place at the JFK Friendship Center e.V. in Berlin-Nikolassee (Von-Luck-Straße 24). The JFK Friendship Center is located right here.

All my classes cost EUR 5,- / evening.  At the beginning of each trimester you can determine via a Doodle which and how many evenings you want to participate in the class.  These are the evening you have to pay for.  Payment is due at the beginning of each trimester.  Short-term cancellations from your side (e.g. illness) will not be reimbursed.  However, if I have to cancel short-term, the class on that evening will be reimbursed respectively credited.

MP3s and dance descriptions are included in the above mentioned price.  All items are being made available in a cloud to which the dancers have access after payment.  Also, further documents will be added to this cloud, e.g. videos, pictures of linedance evenings, etc.

In order to join my classes, you have to become a member of the JFK Friendship Center e.V.; this membership costs EUR 35,- for individuals and EUR 45,- for families.  You can find membership information right here.

Definitely good trainers / sneakers (outdoor shoes are not allowed on the dancefloor).  Furthermore, a towel and something to drink would be good as you will be sweating quite a bit 🙂

There is an intermediates‘ class on Wednesdays at 8 pm.  This class is ideal for all those having only little experience – or re-starters.

My beginners* class (level 2) takes place on Tuesdays at 6 pm, and a brandnew beginners‘ class has started in April 2019. A new beginners‘ class is scheduled to start in January 2020.

Company or other workshops upon request.  Also, my dancers and I are available for performances on festivals, private parties etc.  Just feel free to contact me.
